PULL TO SAFETY - United States Coast Guard officers lift a Haitian woman off the deck of the Coast Guard cutter Farallon Tuesday March 30th, 1999 at Freeport Harbour in Grand Bahama. Seventeen persons of varying nationalities were picked up on Saturday morning when the 20-foot boat they were in was found drifting 20 miles off Delray Beach, Florida. Three Bahamian men from the island of Andros were also on board the small boat. The group informed the U.S. Coast Guard that they were on a fishing trip and had run out of fuel.
